Dr Sergi is a senior consultant in Acute Medicine at the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where she is the lead for ultrasonography and echocardiography services.
Work experience in Italy
Dr Sergi graduated in Italy at the University of Trieste with a Thesis in Cardiology in 1998 and then specialised in Internal Medicine with Acute medicine as subspecialty in 2003 with a thesis on chest pains and markers of cardiac damage. She started working in intensive care unit and emergency department as a consultant in Italy in 2003.

In 2004 she moved to the UK working as a consultant in Acute Medicine. She is now currently employed as a senior consultant at the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, an internationally renowned hospital and research centre, with excellence in cardiovascular disease among others.
