Dottore London on Marketest News
The Big Idea Challenge held at London Metropolitan University (London Met) runs every year with the university’s Student Enterprise Programme. The competition on 2014 was no different and gives aspiring student entrepreneurs an opportunity to pitch business ideas and compete for funding and support needed to start their own venture. Giorgia Bacco, founder of Dottore London, won the competition this year. Dottore London aims to support Italian women living in London by offering a service allowing them to see an Italian gynaecologist in London. Despite more than 40,000 Italian women living in London, there are no clinics catering for them in the capital and 40% would rather return to Italy than go to someone they are not sure about.
